HOUSTON, TX (March 17, 2016) – The 2016 NCAA Men’s Final Four®showcases the most prominent and notable athletes from the best college basketball programs in the nation as hey exhibit their talents in front of millions of viewers riding high on March Madness. Before the big championship game on Monday night, the biggest names in sports will converge on Houston’s nightlife looking for the best entertainment the city has to offer. The Phi Slama Jama Jam event will take place from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. on April 2, 2016, at Social Junkie located at 2412 Washington Ave.

Hosted by SLAM Magazine, One Pass Away and the Nina Zavala Group, the Phi Slama Jama Jam will unite industry and sports power players with Houston’s elite social scene as they celebrate the storied history of The University of Houston’s Phi Slama Jama men’s basketball team. Several celebrities have confirmed their appearances including special invited guests and Hall of Fame basketball icons Clyde “The Glide” Drexler and Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon, who will be on hand to receive special honors for their place in the annals of Houston’s basketball lore.

Houston’s own DJ Mr. Rogers and DJ Kiotti will be in the mix keeping the invite only crowd entertained all evening. “Phi Slama Jama Jam” partners include, New Amsterdam Vodka, Gurkha Cigars, Sports Mix Live, and BMW.

Keith Langford Presents “The Metro Classic”

FORT WORTH, TexasFormer Kansas Jayhawk Keith Langford is bringing his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas the first annual Metro Classic! The Metro Classic will be a charity basketball game and event that will include some of football and basketball’s top professionals around the area! It will also include an autograph session prior to the game.

Keith and crew (David Kyles, Phil Pressey, Cameron Clark, James White, Jason Maxiel, Cowboys Tyler Patmon, James White, Comedian Sydney Castillo, Gin Blanton and Trent Shelton) to name a few, promise to bring out some surprise celebrity guests that’ll be in attendance including the hottest names in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area! Sounds will be provided by DJ Duffey; who is currently on tour with rapper Curren$y.

The Metro Classic will take place June 20th, 2015 at North Crowley High School in Fort Worth. Autograph signing starts at 2 PM followed by the game. There will also be a scholarship giveaway for two attendees to the game.
