(Houston, TX – May 15th, 2020) Thomas Fields, Founder & C.E.O. of GRIND Inc., a sports technology and athletic equipment provider, recently announced the launch of “GRIND Machine”, the world’s first portable basketball shooting machine designed to enhance independent drill training- anywhere and anytime.

The revolutionary shooting machine has been proven to be effective in improving players’ catch & shoot efficiency, footwork, balance, explosion and follow through, while increasing player creativity & basketball IQ.
GRIND Machine allows the player to shoot up to 500 shots an hour by capturing rebounds and automatically passing the ball back to the player at any given spot on the court- including the NCAA 3pt regulation range. GRIND Basketball is equipped with a 12-foot net around the rim that strategically forces players to put more of an arch on their shot, translating to a higher percentage of made shots. This technique in repetition aims to increase muscle memory.

Fields believes this might be the most innovative, yet ideal shooting machine ever designed – “You practice ten times more efficiently using the shooting machine, so it was important to design this for practical use. I wanted to build something that basketball players, coaches, and trainers would love, because they could use it wherever and whenever.” said (Thomas Fields, Founder/Ceo of GRIND).

For Immediate Release
June 25, 2018

IndiHoops presents the 3rd Annual 8th Grade World Championship,
The Little League World Series of Youth Basketball

Dallas, Texas – June 25th, 2018 – IndiHoops, a pioneer in the 8th Grade/14U basketball world, is back with its third installment of the IndiWorld Championships (IWC), IndiWorld3. This year’s event will take place from June 28th through July 1st 2018, in Irving, Texas; at the new Drive Nation facility run by former NBA All- Star Jermaine O’Neal.
The level of competition in the event’s first two years has been nothing short of stellar. The event featured Scottie Barnes (a highly-ranked prospect in the high school Class of 2020) in year 1, and Paolo Banchero (also a highly-ranked prospect in the high school Class of 2021) in year 2. The IWC championship game has already seen many players go straight into their high school careers; at such highly- decorated programs as Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, Garfield High School in Seattle, and University High School in Florida.
This year’s tournament will swell to double the size of last year’s; with teams coming from as far away as Toronto, Canada. We have committed representation and attendance from three major shoe brands. States with teams in attendance include California, Nevada, New Mexico, Georgia, North Carolina, Nebraska, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Indiana, and the event’s home state of Texas. The team list includes IndiHoops’ current number one 8th grade team in the nation and event host, Drive Nation, who will look to keep the championship trophy in house, even after the tournament has completed. In addition to the greater than 32-team tournament, the 2018 IWC will debut a new game format with a standalone game featuring two of the best teams in the class of 2023; Team Thomas from California and Team Griffin from Oklahoma.

The championship will be at July 1st, 2018; 11 AM Central Time.
