DALLAS, TX March 8, 2015 – After the Mavericks game on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, Dallas will join together to welcome professional basketball player Amar’e Stoudemire to the city. The red carpet extravaganza will be lined with celebrities, VIPs and The socialites of Dallas. The event will take place at Sfuzzi’s, located at (2600 Cedar Spring Rd). Doors will open at 9pm.

CH8oMXGiAcquired by the Mavericks on a contract buyout from the New York Knicks, Amar’e Stoudemire is a 6 time All Star who provides innumerable talents both on and off the court. The power forward once named as Florida’s “Mr. Basketball”, is also known to many as an actor, author, producer, motivational speaker and a philanthropist.
The event will include appearances from the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars and more.

Starting on Friday with the Welcome Reception/Black History Month event. Saturday is their philanthropy event the “Pubicolor Service Project” with Tiny Archibald and Dolph Schayes. Ending the weekend on a powerful fellowship on Sunday and will have its annual Legends Brunch w/ current and retired players.

David Kyles Signs With Dallas Based Marketing Company

Nina Zavala Group is proud to announce our newest client, David Kyles of the AEK Basketball Club in Athens, Greece.

David Kyles is a combo guard who has played at the top levels of basketball since he was 8 years old. He attended Justin F. Kimball high school in Dallas and pursued his higher education and basketball at Wichita State University (WSU). In his freshman year he led WSU in scoring against Georgetown in the Old Spice Classic when he made 4-of-7 shots for 51.7%. He was named Shocker Radio Player of the Game against Georgetown. David also won the dunk contest at Shocker Madness his first two seasons as well. David continued to have stellar junior and senior season’s at WSU earning him such awards and legacy stats such as: Scored 75 three-pointers, which ranks second on the WSU season chart behind Sean Ogirri’s 206 in 2005-06, was named to the All-MVC Most Improved team, to name a few before graduating with his degree.


Currently David Kyles is in his third season of Euro Basketball and just signed with AEK Athens (A1) as combo guard for them. Prior to Athens, he played last season at Panelefsiniakos in Greek A1 league. In 6 games he recorded 13.5ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.7apg and 1.2spg. Kyles also played at Basketbal Svitavy (NBL) in Czech Republic league that season. In 24 games he averaged impressive 16.8ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.3apg and 1.5spg.
The previous (12-13) season he played at Inter Bratislava (Extraliga) in Slovakian league. In three games he averaged 12.7ppg, 5.0rpg and 3.0apg in 2012-13 season. He also helped them to make it to the Slovakian Cup Semifinals. Kyles’ team won MVC Regular Season in 2012.

Pro Football Hall of Famer, Deion Sanders, brings his annual Prime Time Youth Sports Weekend to Dallas, Texas for a four-day celebration of youth sports, community building, family empowerment and philanthropy. Previously held in Atlanta, GA, the Prime Time Youth Sports Weekend in Dallas will feature a youth football tournament, celebrity/youth symposium, college visit, and Cowboys Stadium behind the scenes tour

The Celebrity Youth Symposium, brings together celebrities, athletes, business executives and society elite with youth participants for an open discussion forum examining topics ranging including faith, success, self-esteem, education, perseverance and more.

Dallas Community Joins Together to Host Dallas ISD’s 2014 Summer Food Service Program Kick-offServing Free Meals to Dallas Youth at over 200 Locations

DALLAS, Texas, June 13, 2014 – Dallas Independent School District joins with Dallas Park and Recreation Send a Kids to Camp Program, Texas Hunger Initiative, United Way’s “Nine for 90” community service program, the Nina Zavala Group, K104 104.5 FM and Smooth R&B 105.7 FM to host:

Dallas ISD’s 2014 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) kick-off event from 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 20124 at Kahn Elementary School, 610 North Franklin Street.

The 2014 Summer Food Service kick-off event will feature:
• An overview of the SFSP and what’s new for the 2014 year.
• Showcase of support for SFSP in Dallas County.
• Summer Fun Kid-Friendly Activities, including Red Rover, Simon Says and Hula Hoop/Jump Rope.
• Dallas Mavericks teaching kids how to eat healthy and stay active during the summer.
• Summer lunch service in action – see first-hand how the SFSP works.

Kick - Off

Through the Summer Food Service Program, Dallas ISD’s Food and Child Nutrition Services, in conjunction with the Texas Department of Agriculture will provide free meals and snacks to Dallas children and youth, ages one to 18, at 207 locations this summer, through Aug. 22. Participating sites include over 180 Dallas ISD schools and over 20 community locations – colleges, parks and youth activity centers. The program’s goal is to ensure that youth throughout Dallas will not go without proper nutrition during the summer months. All children are welcome to participate. No registration is required.
