McDonalds announced as a sponsor for the 8th Annual Thanksgiving Hoopfest

Hoopfest, who has featured 50 State Championship teams, 20 McDonald All-Americans, and 10 NBA Players announced the sponsorship with McDonalds.

September 27, 2016 (Dallas, TX) – The 8th Annual Thanksgiving Hoopfest will once again set the stage for some of the Nations top talented High School boys, and recently added field- girls, to showcase their basketball skills. The event will take place at the Sandra Meadows Arena in Duncanville on Friday, November 25th and Saturday, November 26th.

The tournament schedule, releasing on Monday, October 3, 2016, has garnered much anticipation. Match-up debates via social media has delivered the tone for this years’ event, as fan enthusiast eagerly await.

The committed boys teams: Findlay Prep (Las Vegas, Nevada), Westlake (Austin, Texas); Carver (Ala.) Cedar Hill (Texas), Steele (Cibolo, Texas); Columbus (Miss.); Dallas Lincoln; Dallas Kimball, Dallas Skyline, Duncanville (Texas); Trinity (Euless, Texas), Hall (Ark.); Lafayette Christian (Lafayette, La.); Timberview (Mansfield, Texas); North Crowley (Texas); Prestonwood (Texas); Putnam City (Okla.); and South Garland (Texas).

Committed girls teams include event host Duncanville (Texas), Argyle (Texas), Dallas Lincoln, Liberty (Frisco, Texas), Mansfield Legacy (Texas), Timberview (Mansfield, Texas). Murrah High School (Jackson, MS).

Advanced Preparatory International has put together an impressive Midnight Madness event with confirmed celebrities, music artist, and professional athletes, set for October 17, 2015

Dallas, TX. – One of the newest editions to the Private School community, Advanced Preparatory International is leading the nation with three of H.S. basketball top players. API will be holding their 1st Annual “API Midnight Madness” event which will showcase more than the hottest high school ballers in the country. Starting with API Boys Basketball Team vs API Staff and celebrity players. Trevon Duval, Terrance Ferguson and Billy Preston will lead the high school squad and allow the Dallas community to see what’s hot in the city.

He and the BankRoll Mafia will entertain the crowd with a full concert and showcasing the music industry’s newest talent. Hometown favorite DORROUGH MUSIC will provide the “Halftime” performance during the Slam Dunk contest; which will be judged by NFL & NBA players. National touring dj “DJ DUFFEY” will wow the crowd by engaging them with her sweet blends of intoxicating mixes and sounds. In addition the evenings game and entertainment, the A.W. Brown Steppers will stomp the hardwood floor to a different rhythmic sound. Gelling all this madness together is none other than 97.9FM The Beat’s own “ROCK T”, who will be the evening’s Master of Ceremony.

Keith Langford Presents “The Metro Classic”

FORT WORTH, TexasFormer Kansas Jayhawk Keith Langford is bringing his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas the first annual Metro Classic! The Metro Classic will be a charity basketball game and event that will include some of football and basketball’s top professionals around the area! It will also include an autograph session prior to the game.

Keith and crew (David Kyles, Phil Pressey, Cameron Clark, James White, Jason Maxiel, Cowboys Tyler Patmon, James White, Comedian Sydney Castillo, Gin Blanton and Trent Shelton) to name a few, promise to bring out some surprise celebrity guests that’ll be in attendance including the hottest names in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area! Sounds will be provided by DJ Duffey; who is currently on tour with rapper Curren$y.
