Celebrities in attendance for the tournament included NBA players Brandon Jennings, Mike Miller, Russell Westbrook, Mo Williams, Rondae Hollis Jefferson, and more. Even familiar faces such as John Lucas, Darius McCrary, DJ Envy, and Kenny “The Jet” Smith came out to catch some tournament action.
The growth of the Fab 48 tournament has been tremendous for AAU basketball as well for the city of Las Vegas. There were over 125 media outlets covering the event including USA Today, NBC, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, Fox Sports, and even local publications like Las Vegas Review Journal and the Las Vegas Sun.
Tournament directors Gary Charles, Dinos Trigonis, and Grant Rice have done a great job in continuing to build this high profile tournament and build on making Las Vegas a destination for hoops.
